My second novel, Freelance Heroics, is officially available today! Just the ebook for now—there was a small holdup with the print version, but I didn’t want to delay any more than I already have. Print should be available in 1-2 weeks.

I’m super proud of it, and even though it was delayed for a few months while I moved across the country and accepted a couple of jobs—because there’s nothing a novelist needs more than less time to write, amirite? Orz—hopefully it will be worth the wait. I think it will be.

This book might be a bit weird. Instead of one continuous narrative, it’s a series of novellas/short stories that follow Mazik, Gavi, and Raedren after the events of Wage Slave Rebellion. Think of it like this: if Wage Slave Rebellion was a movie, then Freelance Heroics is four premium TV episodes. They’re connected, but each is its own story, and they add up to show how our heroes go from newbie adventurers to hardened freelancers—or at least, get partway along that path.

Speaking of which, I just released an updated version of Wage Slave Rebellion as well! The changes aren’t huge, so if you’ve already read it then don’t feel like you have to read it again. I just fixed a few magick system issues and cleaned up the text in a couple of areas (mostly the warehouse scenes and the final battle). If you haven’t read it though, or have friends who haven’t read it, tell them to pick it up. It’s only gotten better.
